Overall, this drone is excellent for those learning to pilot a compact and sturdy FPV drone, offering a complete, ready-to-fly experience.
The drone is enjoyable to fly and weighs under 250 grams, exempting it from FAA registration. Its build is somewhat delicate. I fly it over a grassy area to mitigate damage upon landing, noting it tends to pick up grass stains easily, hence shutting off the motors just before touchdown is advisable. After enhancing it with longer antennas and adjusting the power to 400mw, it comfortably covers a football field's distance. However, it may not be the best choice for complete beginners to FPV drones; a stint on a simulator is advisable before actual flight.
This drone is resilient against numerous crashes and comes with all the essentials for beginning your FPV journey, providing an enjoyable and educational experience.
The drone's durability is notable; it survived a high-speed collision with a metal crate unscathed. It's light, weighing 44 grams with the battery, but I recommend purchasing additional batteries as the two included are insufficient. The drone performs well initially, but power noticeably declines in the last minute of flight. An expanded charging solution from BetaFPV would be ideal, as I had to buy additional chargers and batteries to compensate.
